Subject to many discussions: the glass pyramid. Is it a monster or a beautiful structure to complement the old Louvre?

As close to perfect as this is it's a pity you couldn't lose that part of the tree to the left of the pyramid. On my desktop now.

The angle is cool alright & the B&W really fitts the shot. But what, i think, makes this foto so interesting is that you can see the "contrast" between old and modern art. Very interesting & cool. Good job, Paul.

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.

Amazing composition of this shot. You make it all look good! They'll be loving their pyramid after looking at it from your point of view.

I'll go with beautiful structure to bring the museum into this century. And quite necessary for Mr. Brown. Glad you posted it.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Nice B&W. I think you are right about the many different views on this. Old and new side by side you are bound to have different tastes. Great shot.

Nicely juxtaposed and the black and white adds to the contrast. I guess they each have their good qualities, but the older building has more character.

CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.

Paul, I really like this image as it is full of all sorts of geometrical shapes. From the modern to old style architecture. I think maybe the reason I especially like this one is that I spend all of my working hours on geometrical shapes. Formal design drawings and abstract theoretical designs.
A 10 from me my friend and I love your composition, angle and attention to detail.
Keep em coming.

I love your angle here and also b&w. What a great difference to the tourist shots of the Louvre we are used to seeing. Excellent, in my favs.

Regardless of opinion on the pyramids themselves, you have taken a great image here. The choice of black and white is perfect for emphasising the lines and shadows. Top work.
