i especially like this one because it seems more natural both in decor and in surroundings than at zaanse schans. it seems more similar in looks to what i always thought a windmill would look like. the sky is just magnificent. you are sooooooooo good at this.

Paul, a beautiful composition: a dramatic sky and a beautiful windmill, as Dutch as it can be. Watching your beautiful images make me know for sure that you're the perfect ambassador at Caedes for our small country. Regards, Cornelius

Such a fantastic sky, Paul. This is another of your most beautiful images.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I really like the long, shallow curves of the windmill blades and buildings contrasted with the geometric straightness of the horizon and with those big, fluffy clouds. Great sense of place...you can feel the cool wind and smell the salt air.

This gets a big "wow" from me! I love the color, the depth of the image, the detail, the quality, the composition, the sense this feature gives the view of being there and looking right at this windmill. *Whew*....very tasteful and classy. The only thing I would improve on is framing it and hanging it in my living room ;=)
Off to the favorites it goes and thank you Paul for sharing this with me ;=)

I am really enjoying the windmill shots, something we do not see around here. Great sky in this shot.

Paul, I really like the way the clouds meet the ground. Like it was mentioned we don't get to see windmills here in the US. Very lovely. Mary
