Schilthorn is a 2,970 metre high summit in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland, above Mürren. It has a panorama, which spans from the Titlis, Jungfrau, Mönch, Eiger, over the Bernese Alps and the Jura mountains up to the Vogesen and the Black Forest. Mont Blanc is also just visible. There is a panoramic revolving restaurant, named Piz Gloria, at the summit, which is where the James Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service was set. A famous black ski run featured in the film starts at the summit and leads down to the Engetal below Birg. The resturant revolves a full 360 degrees in 55 minutes.

I guess this is the best of the series ( waiting for others ).
Thanks also for the comments and the interesting anecdote about 007. You had luke with the wetter.
One of my colleague was there this week-end but the wetter wasn't very good.

I am very pleased to see that you have seen the Schilthorn, i have been here 2 times last year, but the weather cams at the ground station showed that the visability was very low due to a lot of haze, what made me deside not to go up. Therefore i am pleased with this one, thanks for the view !

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
