What a beautiful contrast Paul between the field of sunflowers and the the beautiful dark background consisting of some rough mountains. Great post again!
Regards, Cornelius.

The sunflowers are pretty, but I can't take my eyes off the mountains. A cabin in the mountains would be the ideal place to spend my retirement, if it were possible. Gorgeous shot, Paul.

Just breath taking beauty! I love the flower, but the add bonus is the mountains in the back. Great job.

The contrast of the flowers in the foreground against the mountains way in the background is just awesome Paul. What a truly Alpine look to this photo. It must have been wonderful to be there in person. I always wanted to go visit Switzerland. But if I ever get across the ATlantic, I think I would want to live somewhere in Europe...thank you Paul..it's lovely..Verena

Absolutely beautiful Paul - now we wonder how it would look if you were shooting down from atop one of the mountains. A great find and you've photographed it wonderfully.

What a backdrop for one of my favorite crops. I like the way you split the shot. It's hard to choose which direction to look first.

Almost everything here is perfect: the color contrast, the brightness contrast, the size/distance contrast... Wow! (my only nag is about the quality of the area with the forest: I see pixels on the biggest resolution. pixels growl at me). Beautiful shot.

Hey there Paul! I just caught this in the Perm gallery (Congrats) and wanted to let you know I like this alot. For me, this shot's best feature...is all of it. Great sense of depth here, with the sunflowers leading the viewer's eye straight back into the mountains. Very well done!

This just came up on featured images and I knew it was you. It has your paws all over it. Someone similarly masterful once painted sunflowers in Holland. This is lovely! Take care of your ears ;-)
