Nice photo, I would not of taken this photo so close to the flowers hence the blurriness which I think hurts this photo a lot. Other than that you did a good job.
I think the blur is just fine, adding depth to the photo. I would only suggest another shot of the gates, perfectly centered, including that short section of fence past the white pillars, on each side, for an entry in the Symmetry contest. Considering the perfect focus you get on your photos nowadays, the fine detail in those gates would have made for a winner entry. Beautiful shot, Paul.
The first rule is: Remove the lens cap!
The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
Well this is for my fav's and its a lovely shot of these Regal railings and gate. The flowers really add colour and balance the picture nicely. Thanks for sharing and well done!

Mich
This is such a very magestic photo Paul. I like how the flowers are made to be "unimportant" so to speak..and that the importance goes to the gate. Plus there are clear flowers there by it. I was at Buckingham Palace when I was ten years old as you know, so this is a real treat to be able to see that gorgeous gate. Thank yoiu so much. Verena
