Wow stunning photography and i love the dark water and the blue at the top end. There is some lovely detail and colours in this shot and well worth the risk so 10/10 to a great shot.
A great shot of a well-known view. There's at least one other of this view, here at Caedes, but taken from an entirely different time of day. It's always interesting to see what a difference light can make (of course it looks REALLY different on moonless nights :) as it bounces off rock and strikes water from other angles. Saved and faved, Paul.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
I did a lot to help him. He's about 6 feet 6 inches tall and i'm a munchkin. Leaning out to take the picture is a bit scary. Taking the Gerritsens to Horseshoe Bend was a real treat for us. It's an awesome spot. Good shot, Paul, especially since you were using a point and shoot! (hee hee)

Oh yes, I can see her shadow at the edge of the cliff! Amazing bend in the water. Must have been one strong piece of earth to make the water go around.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
