I would agree; it's very inviting. I get the sense I could hike right between those peaks, on the path, and find another equally amazing view on the other side.

Beautiful photo I love how the eyes are lead up the hill to the mountains in this photo and the light that lays on the back of the mountains too.The sky is stunning in this photo too.
When you say you can "walk right into the scenery" are you saying you didnt notice one of these cliffs and bumped into it??? ha ha This is an awesome capture of nature's natural structures. The light and colours are breath-taking. Well done! Ann
I am so excited that you got to visit this amazing place Paul.Having grown up in Utah this is one of my favorite destinations and is a one of a kind place in the scenic world. I love Zions and have been there numerous times over the years. Did you get a chance to hike up the narrows yet?? That is a treat extraordinaire!! I have many old time photo's - from film- of this place stuffed away in boxes and will have to re-visit them soon!! You captured this area well here. A magnificent shot. Thanks for stirring up the memories buddy!!!! p.s. How odd is it that two posts in a row from members have a butterfly avatar?? Rare indeed:):)
is this New Mexico? it stands out most for being exceptionally crisp and focused, and for having great composition. i love how the mountains seem like they're leaning over and huddling together, like they're in conversation with one another. i also like how the hills are rolling, and the lighting of that time of day was perfect.
