Like a kid with a coloring book, my fingers were itching to color it. I'd like to see what you could do with it, colorwise. However, I must say, your image here is elegant as is. Well done.

Truly, an excellent job! If I may suggest ... try doing it as yellow/amber glass ... seems to me like it'd be paricularly interesting that way.

glass spring. ha! impossible! Psh, theres a reason we use metals and not glass...oxymoron -.- ...lol, anyways. Its a great render, the "spring" actually looks like it is a spiral. Took me a while to figure out it was actually toruses (one other question torus is singular so what is its plural form?) ...i like the simple background with the simple lighting.
