Just got back from my holiday trip to Crete, the biggest island of Greece, for two weeks. Once a year there's a special light because the moon rises up behind the mountain, it was a very beautiful & spiritual 'moonset'. This was in Katalagari, about 17 kilometers below Iraklion, the capital of Crete. Hope you like it, all comments are appreciated!

You did a great job here Jereon. The bright green in the foreground takes a bit away from the beauty of the moon but it's a very pleasing post. Nicely done and as our friend missydog109 says, TYU -- thank you unnecessary :)

Excellent shot. I think I'd also like to see a "black" version, cropping out the overall-yellow hotel veranda and creating a silver/black panorama.

Yes, very pretty! The lighting is awesome, a very cool nice shot. Just leaving for Crete tomorrow morning, what an excellent way to get in the mood! :-)

very nice, there are a couple of blue specks though, and maybe it wouldv't been good to tone down the lights in the foreground, but I guess that's just personal, and it all depends on what effect you wanted to give... the idea of a "black" is also interesting... Anyway, I like this a lot :)
