A beautiful scene to catch this beautiful machine in. The glare and tight shadow from the noonday sun add a nice feeling to this. Great capture!

Excellent capture Tom. This is truly a classic car. The green grass & the flowers in the background make for an awesome setting. Good eye. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Not a Buick. It looks like either a Mercury or a Lincoln. 1949-1951?

It is a Buick, I double checked when I captured the image, It says 'Buick' right on the front of the car.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

It is definetly not a Mercury. Dad had a 50 model mercury just like the one in the movie Cobra that Sylvestor Stillone starred in. They were built like armoured cars back then. You rap your knuckles on the hood and you get that distinctive PONG sound. This one has a cool paint job. Dad's car was solid black. Thanks for sharing Tom.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Thats not the original grill and the hood has been customized. I'm not sure it is a Buick. Just my opinion.

The classification of Classic Cars is becomming blurred. This is a customized "something"; not sure what; damn well done, but not a Classic.
