I am over a thousand miles away from my valentine this year which can make a person feel blue. This one is for my other half, you can't get a better woman than her.

There is no photoshop trickery here, the orchids were actually that blue.

I hope she gets to see this beautiful flower. She will love it. Happy Valentines Day to both of you .

Great shot! Put a camera in her hand and get her hooked on photography so you can share the experience together. Or perhaps she is already a shutterbug?

What a lovely image showing her how blue you feel being apart. Love seeing the texture in the petals. Really stands out with the golden greens background.

I have never seen an orchid this colour - it is beautiful. The softness of the photo gives it a dreamy mood.
Nice sentiment. Distance is no barrier when hearts are joined.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Lovely colours and details in the photo and a nice DoF in the capture.
