Great shot Jeff. This bird looks as though it is trying to blend in with the brown bark of the tree. Very nice.

Life is a Constant Audition
This is a cowbird, and they are common in my area. They're kind of pests, making other birds raise their young. I've seen the female abandon her eggs in a starling's nest, and you should see the dear little mom starling trying to feed the gigantic cowbird chicks!

Super capture and like the angle and superb detail - it is called a Brown Headed Cowbird, they sometimes appear here
