I've noticed for a while that when I go on a walk, themes emerge. Sometimes I come back with dozens of pictures of deer, or dozens of purple flowers. A recent walk was filled with butterflies, most of them found at the end of the six miles where there was a small drainage garden next to the parking lot.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
"drainage garden", Jeff? So... shallow water? That would then be the draw for them and the reason you saw so many. I have a couple plans for butterfly "houses" (like bird houses) and they both include a small tray for water, inside or sheltered, to protect them from predatory birds. A nice Macro--a little soft in focus but otherwise technically spot on.
