I got myself a new camera, which means I want to experiment with it. Light.co has a camera that is composed of 16 smaller cameras that work together, firing up to 10 at the same time and merging the results into a large, detailed image. So far the downside is handling 53 megapixel images really strains my computer.

I'm not a PC-basher, Jeff, but that is one of the reasons I've used Macs since the mid-80's. In my career I had to deal with images that were reaching 1G in size, moving them around in real time. The filaments of ice(?) here in your experiment are so delicate they almost look 3D.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

So unique and you've done a good job Jeff plus it really does look 3D - such detail in the ice showing us different patterns - keep up the good work

It appears you have yourself a winner in this camera Jeff. I look forward to more shots. The reviews on the camera are very good and interesting.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

That's certainly an interesting picture. This is the first I have heard of this camera. You piqued my curiosity, and got me running to Google. You are dealing with the cutting edge of photography here. Good, we need pioneers.
