Here the center of attention is actually in the center. The focus depth is on the object and enough background at different blurriness gives depth. But this time, think about the lines and edges. You want the viewer's eye to return again to the object of focus and lines toward the object help guide the eye. Framing is a variance of this idea. Frames act as roadblocks to keep the eye from wandering off the edge. A frame can be subtle, as with the tulip leaves on each side. Even on the subject there are lines that keep the eye moving round the subject to take in more detail.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
