Sometimes a picture becomes interesting simply because it breaks the rules. Perhaps this one is not the best example, but it suits me in an off sort of way.
Jeff, rules, like the Rule of thirds, are often used as a dogma (limiting someone's artistic freedom) instead of an advice. You've shown that 'breaking' these 'rules' can give a perfect result. Well done!
