One of my fellow hikers said, "You take pictures of everyone else, but no one takes a picture of you." So she took one that I really like. This is taken in Pickett State Park on the Rock Creek Trail. It is a part of our "Wild Hike" that requires crossing creeks three times, which is why the lower parts of my pants are soaked. The hiking pole is because I ruptured the lowest disc in my back eight years ago and it ruins my balance at times (my legs respond too slowly at times).

The downward slanting rays of light give this place the appearance of heaven. I suspect it rather is for you, Jeff. If so, it is a good choice; the place is gorgeous.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
