This was taken near Smith Falls State Park on the Niobrara. An accident dumped me out of my canoe (the first time in several decades of canoeing) and drowned my Sony, so I switch to my cellphone. I also lost the man in the front of my canoe. He ended up injuring his back and was losing feeling in his legs, so we did some quick switching and stopped at an outfitter to send him back to our camp (he recovered). My lens was a loss, but my camera survived. Still, the day was perfect (77 degrees).

What an adventurous day ! Happy that your friend recovered. Same about the drowning ! Some great pictures captured though
