A Bobolink this morning in Charlotte VT USA. A farmer has delayed mowing his field because this species nest in them. Their numbers have fallen dramatically. If they make it through it will be off to South America.

Now this one, Paul, has perfectly directed focus, even catching the shine spot on the birds eye. Two thumbs and five stars up.

Compliments to the farmer who allows the survival of this bird species to prevail over his financial gain.
Also compliments for this photograph, Paul! This Bobolink couldn't be photographed better than in this colorful environment!
