There had been a proposal some years back to make Champlain, though considerably smaller, one of the American Great Lakes. Such a designation would have given additional environmental protections. Here looking back east toward the Vermont shoreline. Clouds are one of Vermont's major crops and also a chief export.

It is a remarkable sky adding to a rich composition theme of sea and sky, of Heaven and Earth. Very nice capture, Paul.

Paul, I would have chosen for the 'skies' gallery rather than the 'landscape' gallery, because of the prominent sky and the mountains/hills at the background, but of course, it's up to you.
It's anyhow a splendid capture.

I like all the blues. Very interesting clouds, fog, mountains, and water. It looks like a bad day coming.
