Awesome display of light. Personally I would like to see the left and bottom cropped away so that the center was near the left bottom corner. Great texture:-)

Ohhh I love this very much!! Looking up like you did just makes it even more beautiful than it is in reality...I love how you did this...and I like the light coming thru at the bottom left...I guess we each have our likes in different ways....Thank you for posting this!!

And thank you all for your kind words! I must find time to see how Mayne's suggestion works out, but feel free to try it yourself in the meantime.

I think regardless of how you work this one it's going to have a unique abstract effect. I can picture what Darryl speaks of. I can picture it flipped. I can picture it colorized, etc... This can be played with for hours. ;) Then again, it can stand well as is. Very nice. ;)

Wow, is this image strong. Really nice.

You must congratulate yourself on having 'seen' this first in your mind's eye. It is a remarkable capture. Fantastic clarity.

To have provoked the discussion the above I think speaks volumes. Cropping as suggested would almost, in my mind, make it more abstract. It would be interesting to view.

I do, however, like that there is a frame of reference for the uninitiated like myself.

Really nice work. Thanks for sharing your 'eye' and inspiring us to look at things with an open mind to discover what is there and more importantly, what can be there.

(Hmm, think that made sense ??)

Thanks for the comment on Just Beachy. I must admit to correcting the color saturation slightly, but only to restore it to the colors that were there in reality. My camera has a tendency to shoot with lower contrast and more muted colors than what you actually see. It usually needs a little post-processing to get back to what I was really taking a picture of :)

This picture is beautiful as well. I can see what Darryl had in mind, but as BJ says, this stands on its own as well. The color and patterns are great. Wonderful clarity and detail. Nice work!
