I continue to get into trouble with the women in my life. While we were supposed to be enjoying the company of friends and relatives, once again I was on the back roads of Iowa looking for old barns, dilapidated structures and grain silos. On this day I racked up 200 miles on old county roads but missed a birthday party. I apologize for not having any birthday shots. This one will have to do in its place.

All constructive comments are much appreciated.

I like the glowering skies in this and it's a great rural shot Roger. There seems to be a glow in your recent shots - nice!

Roger, this Iowa picture resembles a rural painting. I love the exuded mood wich probably has been intensified by the proper editing of the initial capture.
Btw, by reading your narrative, I conclude that you haven't lost your sense of humor. Thanks anyway for the smile, 😁 !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
