Excellent contest entry Raj. This strawflower is not living up to its 'everlasting' reputation :) I did not know the name Imortelle, have always called them Everlasting Daisies.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Raj - A terrific capture - it looks like the one on the right is harboring dandelion seeds as well. I like the dof, with the young and fresh flower in crisp focus, the old one slightly blurred and the background fully blurred. The lighting is similar. Kudos on an excellent photo. Thad

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
