Wow what a cool shot and entry, Raj . I cetainly hope whoever decides to take a seat in that has a cushion with them . Great tones and contest entry . Good Luck !
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Man, this looks very familiar but the purpose of it is stuck in my brain (along with all those other moldy ideas in there). I've seen an object similar to this before, a European artifact used for colloquial manufacturing. The horizontal rod is an essential part of it but... it just won't come out of the noggin. Dang. I guess I'll have to wait until the contest is over, or I can try to pose the question of it's origin to a museum curator friend of mine tomorrow. A real puzzler, Raj. Good luck.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
This is the strangest thing I have ever seen Raj!! A perfect entry but I had to laugh at Lyn's comments: an ancient butter roller thingy???????? Cool whatever it is:)
This is what's used to separate the men from the boys in the olden days. Now everything is computerized and relatively painless. Nice work in this capture. Good details and textures. Best of luck in the contest.
