An old newspaper printing machine from the early 40s. I snapped this at the printing house of a local newspaper when I visited it with a group of pensioners : ) Since "Technology" was proposed by me for the contest and there are still no entries I have to make a start.

Technology is my passion - after watercraft that is - am preparing for the contest too. For the time being chiefly mentally LOL
This makes a great entry. Instructive and of historical value.

I didn't realize the old newspaper printing machines were that big. I have heard of Linotype before. Very impressive & an excellent contest entry, Raj.

That's a great find, Raj. Brings back the days when machines like that ate people who weren't paying attention.

That must be ancient I see that it isn't a wireless printer. :)

A good capture of the old printing machine. Nice details and focus in the photo. Best of luck in the contest.

Oh! A linotype! Many years ago, when I was a young photographer, I had seen that machines run in technical department of the newspaper Cumhuriyet. It was very hard work that operators of these machines did with melted lead. Very nice shot Raj. -Tanju
