Now who would want to bear the expenses and problems of building a big house on top of a hill surrounded by thickly grown trees and also constructing a winding road up the hill plus have the whole thing surrounded by high walls?

Answer: Only someone who loves perfect isolation!

My entry for the contest. This photo was taken about 8 years ago in India.

8 years ago is just like yesterday! I know what I am talking about, trust me.:)
Great entry and I agree with our new agent Richie as to the protection against tigers who might feed on humans in lack of other fodder...
Only alternative would be Boris who is not afraid of anything bigger than him, just mice or spiders scare him:)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Raj - Good thing there is no snow here - I'd not want to clear that serpentine driveway in winter. Best wishes in the contest. Thad
