We, both SAAB & SAM, had a hangover after Boris birthday and that is why we only just realised that we are still amongst the living and late with our best birthday wishes to yourself, dearest Raj.
In general with age we [SAM & SAAB] tend to get more and more slow - both in physical activity and in thinking LOL

About the choice for an entry for the 'Faces' contest: will be a difficult choice for you as both are very good captures, but with a different character. If I was a lady, think my choice would be the friendly dog, but as a man, I would prefer the noble (and not the unfriendly) expression of King Lion.
Wish you 'strength' and 'wisdom' in making a proper choice, my friend (lol)
