I do not know the name of this flower. Perhaps someone can help. It is only about 2.5" in diameter.

After a tip from Cornelius I believe that this flower is Zinnia "Royal Purple"

I'm not sure Raj, but this could be a species of the Zinnia elegans flower. Think that Kathy can confirm this (or not, ☺ ).
Anyhow a wonderful one and very appropriate one for Foofy Friday.

I don't know the names of many flowers but zinnia sounds right to me too...and what a beautiful capture of this one...love everything about it...great work, Raj!

It's definitely a zinnia Raj and a pretty color at that - beautiful purple shade - its name is fit for royalty - Great Capture!!!!!!!!
