It's not typical for me to be out in time to capture a sunset because the grandkids are usually still with me but the same day I took Chance of Rain I managed an early release, got in my truck and headed out. I realized I wouldn't make it in time to a better spot so I pulled over to get this just in time. Then, I just stood there and admired it before it disappeared. It's special to me because I had a chance to see it in person. Thanks in advance to you all! - Patty

Very beautiful to wake up to some color like this. I will use it as my sunrise this morning as the white stuff falls in my backyard. Nice capture Patty.

A gorgeous sunset Patty! This spot will do just fine! Love the clouds & the silhouetted trees also! Beautiful colors..it's nice to be able to stop & appreciate the world around us sometimes! Now you better clone in some light for your trip back! :)

The clouds do appear to be similar to the ones in Chance of Rain. A very beautiful sunset indeed. I would have stood there to watch also, especially with such beauty as this one has. I live surrounded by trees, so I would have to travel a distance to catch a lovely sunset like this. Thanks for snapping this one for us, Patty.

Lovely sunset, Patty. Just dark enough to remind us of all the threats from the sky, but so wonderfully lit by the last glow! Well worth the stop!

Hi there, this is just a beautiful sunset. I am a sunset-freak myself. There is no colors that wonderful like in a sunset...the problem is, they dont stay long....Thanks for sharing /HJ
