the scale of the person to the waves is interesting. i also like how the person's stance shows so much trepidation.

you never really know someone until you eat a bag of flour w/ them.

This is even better than the first photo...I love how the water totally covers this frame. The vastness of the Pacific is felt even more. And the glow of the sun shines on the water. Your friend stands there in what appears to be in total awe. I wonder what you were standing on when you took this great shot ITs fantastic. I agree with Mindy...It will be on my desktop a while. I live an hour from the Pacific Ocean, near Portland, so I know how good it feels..V

I am enjoying this series. The composition really emphasizes the immensity and power of the ocean in contrast to the relative insignificance of one tiny human.

Interesting series. Gets the mind operating - like a puzzle. I personally like the big rolling wave in this shot, the time of day that creates great shadows, and the profile of the man rather than seeing the color and detail of the human element. It speaks to the nature of the entity - it's only ours to enjoy while we may, but the ocean is in control. Nice shots. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
