Do you remember when you thought that buying that fixer upper was a good idea. That with a bit of work, a can or two of paint and maybe some new carpet that you could flip it and make a ton of money? You may have been lured by some of the familiar Real Estate lures... "Unspoiled Basement"; "Original windows"; "Treed lot"; "Quiet neighbourhood", "plenty of parking" and other "special surprises". Sometimes that works...sometimes...

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Wonder if the original owners are still poking around at night?

This is a fantastic image. If the tractors come with the place I'm interested. Maybe it could be used for a super portrait location. Never look and not see.

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

I think this is one we passed up when we were house hunting. I'd heard "C'mon honey, it just needs a little work" wayyyyyyy too many times before!

Heeeeey! That's my house!!! <sniff sniff> Making fun of my house. Hehehe just kidding. I'm wondering the same thing as Dreamer - you never know, the original owners might still be floating around at night.
This would make a great picture for a ghost story book.

This is great.. It has so much "History"... the architecture shows it to be a unique structure, and the harvest seems to be eating up the International Harvester. Lol.. I had to give this a 10. Really intrigueing! What state was this photographed in? ~Ouimon~ Is it for rent? :-)

Paul (oiumon) This was photographed in the state of advanced disrepair! *wink*

Actually, in the Province of Ontario, Canada. You would NOT want to rent this place, trust me. I can send you a few more pictures if you wish to attest to this truth!

Very funny.. Just like me.. that's why I decided to quit smoking.. before I get a case of termites 8^) I love the scenes in Ontario, especially with all those Lupines and the orange flowers all over the place. I don't get them in Minnesota, just see them when we drive to Souix Lookout. Yeah.. Like to see inside the house of Advanced Dis-Repair! Get any good Ghost Shots? Also, I played around with your Series 4 Waterfall and with Editor I set contrast up, and midtones, and you can see All the Way Down the Waterfall with a deep turquoise color! Well, almost all the way down. That was fun, I hope you don't mind.. it is your intellectual property but I made a copy on my computer. Paul W ~Ouimon~.. And I will send a copy to you if you wish: To an email address. Paul W. "I am not a photo theif" Lol.
