What good is a walk without boards for our feet. Such were part of our day in the forest. You're invited to join us ... just look and listen. Shhh ... you can hear the sounds of the birds but can you hear the sound of the striking stone that we lost? Me neither.

I hear the blessed sounds of silence.. That woodpecker over on the right.. Isn't that a robin singing on the left. and I am sure I hear the chatter of a squirrel up ahead...

I hear gurgling water gently rolling over smoothed rocks...and the soft wind lightly filtering thru the trees....I look and see movement in the shadows...under the bridge...in a darkened spot of the little stream...hidden away a little family of ducks frolicking....splashing quietly. Thru the forest I see small shafts of sunlight filtering into this little paradise....and I can breathe once more..................................

I can feel the coolness of the air as I walk along the path. The trees provide welcome shade from the sun. The air smells fresh and very woodsy. I really like the colors of green in this capture Rob. Very refreshing. Thank you for inviting me :))

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

What a perfect picture. Anything to do with woodland is always great. I love the way you have captured this picture leaving me with a question, what lies beyond what we can see? more forest? wish i could walk down here on my sundays.
