Nice waterlily Rob...but I sure dont like that "stuff"(even tho its au natural) on the lilypads..The flower itself is of course absolutely lovel..and I love how the stems are reflected...giving such total depth to these water plants..Nice to see your postings...you take care of self ok? hugs...V

Verena, ....what? .. a bit of parsley upsets you?

You don't need to eat it, it's only a garnish.

This is nice. It is almost monochromatic. Reminds me of an, east coast, Geroria O'Keefe
painting. High marks, parsley and all.!:0)

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

The reflections are great in this Rob. I love the angles of the reeds as they grow & then are reflected in the water. The single, stark white flower on the dark water is rather stunning itself! Waterlilies are a favorite of mine & this one is no exception. Right into my fav's on my h/d & I can admire this beauty everytime I see it on my slideshow! Good capture. Thanks :~)

I over-exposed my white waterlily shots this summer..so Iดm glad to see this one, Rob. Nicely composed with water refections and parsley...

This is real nice, it’s the kind of scene you can gaze at for ages and please don’t talk to me while I’m doing the gazing.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

The flower makes an excellent focal point. Very nice, Rob :-)

Very lovely. The contrast between dark water and white lily, round lily pads and straight reeds, the perfection of the lily in comparison to the old lily pads. The hint of underwater plants adds to the realism. And of course, it makes a very peaceful desktop.
