Not the most beautiful bird but a very good portrait. Good capture.

Sheesh is right! What happened to this bird? Caught in a tornado? That's ugly but the photgraphy ain't. Perfect capture. The pose is great, focus is spot on, colors all true appearing....but...the poor bird! My husband just walked in and saw this. He nsaid that's what I'm going to look like in another 20 years. Poor husband...he's in room 247 of the local hospital...................

Well, he's beautiful in his own way :) Splendid close-up, nice and sharp. Great detail - like all his fuzzy feathers, the sharp eye, and super beak! He has a very determined look. I hope they are able to save this species. Thanks for that very informative narrative. You did your homework! Terrific image. Thanks Rob :>
