I wish I could go on and on about it, as in days of yore.lol..the water's the ticket here..it's a shimmering spectacle and changes colors so beautifully so many times as it rounds the bend to fade into the blue of the sky. The fall colors on the land behind the rough rocks at the land's end make me envious of the couple sitting there enjoying this scene..thanks..it's great :)PJ

What a lovely alcove. The water is brilliant, and the sky blends so perfectly with the waves it's hard to see the horizon. You've framed it well, and when I viewed the thumbnail, it almost appeared like a slumbering prehistoric creature (with the head being the upper left portion of land that's jutting out). Crazy creative minds, huh?

Thank you Anne, PJ and Smoosh. It was a lovely spot at a great time of day for the camera. The water is so clear here that you can clearly see the 30' depth of this small glacial inlet.

A great Saturday hike for Quiet and I.
