This is definitely a mood picture. I feel the fall setting in and the water reflecting that. The angle with which you have given this to us is very nice, pleasing and interesting. The trees in the background reenforce the coming of the "grey" season, as I call November before the snow settles in to bring back some beauty to the landscape; the rocks in the forground that hold back the gunmetal water as it laps against the shore; the grey clouds with their bits of blue starting from the left and proceeding over along the upper portion to the right are a relief, but the mood has been set, and it makes me sigh :)PJ

Lovely and perfectly composed Rob. The drama in the sky and the fall foliage sure tell you that old man winter is on the way doesn't it. At the same time, it's somehow serene and peaceful. A very nice post and glad you shared it.
