These mirror shots are so terrific, especially when the water does its job properly and reflects what's going on in such a sharp way. It's funny how the water picks up colors from the sky that we don't really see ourselves at the time. I'm not sure if that is unique to Autumn and its bright skies, or if it is just the slant of the sun this time of year..whatever, you've captured it wonderfully well here and this is a feast for the eyes. However, just a minor adjustment to the right on the horizontal line would have made this all the better :)PJ (No, I don't go around straightening hanging pictures on walls....lol)

Gorgeous pic Rob. It has a very stately, postcard feel to it. Fantastic composition.

This was, for me, a roadside shot. I had driven by the spot, thought "I should really stop" but continued driving. After a mile or so it called me back. A U-turn, a short drive and I found myself on the side of the road enjoying the serene here captured. A good decision, a beautiful site, only margionally captured here.

I could drive a few miles in any direction and see almost the same landscape.There is just enough red on the water line to makes this work so well.Fine capture.
