In each of our lives, we have a place. A place that we call rest. Our anchor place, whether in bricks or in heart, in field or at sea. In such places .... Here is such a place for one, a place where beauty walks. Shhh...

Nice to see you still shooting your favorite subject and the dear of your dreams. A beautiful image Rob. I knew before I even clicked the thumbnail on the new images page this was your shot. The dropping sun glowing across the lake creating the long shadow behind Quiet is wonderful. The silhouetted trees look fragile so exposed, yet protective somehow. A good angle on the shot keeping the subject off center. I might have wanted to catch my subject standing in a whistful gaze for an absolutely perfect postcard - a frozen moment. Black and white is perfect medium for this image but a bit flat from the sun glare. Blessings, anne

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

What a magnificent and emotional post Rob. One can feel the quiet and peace throughout. An excellent 'feeling'. Thanks for this one.

Oh my ... pass me a Kleenex and make that four, five, six ... of us and counting.

(^^ Some of the voices inside my head insisted on coming forth.:oP ^^)

colocolour (<--- I am Canadian, eh? too :o) ) has indeed said it best.

Thank you for sharing not only this image, but the emotion of true love.

What a lovely response to this simple image. I'm glad that it founds it's way to those who have a chance to understand. I'm grateful.
