Wowowowow. Other than the obvious outstanding macro that this image exhibits, the tiny frail leaves of the plant look like clear and gold leaded glass, or the wings of a damselfly. An outstanding capture, Wayne, worthy of matting and framing and hanging prominently in your home. It would provide any guest with a conversation starter and the idea (well-earned) that you*re a wizard with a camera. ;op

Wayne - The etherial look of the blurred background and the interesting shape of the flower, coupled with the backlighting remains make a delightful image. Well done.
Looking closer I realized that I have to zoom in farther than most would, so close that the petaled portion of the plant, from the very top to that spearpoint-like dark shape at the bottom of the leaves, before I see any aberration at all. That*s saying something, because I spent decades in a career of working with very old photos and shooting new ones, then processing them for far oversized printing and exhibition. This also included fixing defects, so I can say with some authority that this macro perfectly meets the technical parameters necessary for professional use. With your kind permission (after the fact), I downloaded a copy to my iPad*s photo file, to enjoy it anytime I need a little creative injection.
