Fantastic image!
I know my camera has the capabilities, but I am sure that my settings must be off because my images just don't get that clarity yours do! Tips welcomed as the spring approaches, I will be focussing more on macros!

With the darker backround the flower and bee stand out in a big way. Just a remarkable photo!

what to say except..you did it again... :) i must have a tour through your gallery as soon as i catch some time to do it, it's certainly impressive! :)
i'm amazed with the clarity of this image, it's spectacular, like i'm standing in front of that gorgeous flower and looking at the bee.. well, it certainly looks like that.. besides..i wouldn't be *that* close :) i'm not very fond on bees..i've had close encounters several times and they didn't end well.. ouch :D well, at least, i'm not scared to put this fabulous image on my desktop :)
nice background blur and shades, they bring out the focus on the flower and its little visitor.. i love the colour of the flower's petals, so soft and beautiful.. i don't know what kind of flower this is, but the middle part reminds me of a dandelion in the dusk...hm.. i always see many things that others don't see in the images, heh :)
and talk about the lightning.. shadows on the petals and the light upon the bee - superb!
nice composition, too.. btw, i'm not very fond on urls on the images, i know, it's the author's choice. at least, you've adjusted it to fit with the colours.. it even looks nice, i must say that :) but.. :)
and to conclude, it's a stunning and a marvellous macro shot, highest marks from me for this little masterpiece :) thank you for sharing it with us! and enjoy your day :)

Top notch photo in every respect. I particularly like the placement of the subject. It makes the composition very dynamic and pleasing to the eye and is as a bonus not a standard solution in any way. I have to agree on Tinas remark about the URL though... ;)

I really like how everything in the photo is out of focus except for the bee and the center of the flower. Lovely colors and a wonderful capture. Well done!
