I'm sure there have been photos of these on caedes before now, but for those that may not have seen one this is called a "Bottle Brush". No prizes for guessing why... It's an australian native and it comes in a few other colors, including pink and yellow. Here is some additional info if you are interested.

How did I know this was yours? You really must like red plants..

Anyway. I just want to say thanks for bringing something new to the table (or gallery..something like that) and say I like this. I like the angle and clairity of the shot, but I wish it was a little more "zoomed" on the subject and I think that the lighter background lessens the intensity of the subject. That's just my thoughts ^.^

Well, as much as I love abstract style, this one's health and clarity at the tip are teasing me to want to see the whole gorgeous bloom in crisp focus and a tad more background blend. Not sure what that is in the lower left corner? Again, your colors and lighting are top notch. Still a pretty presentation.
