Here's my honest opinion. That duck would really taste good barbecued. LOL. Sorry, I couldn't help it. What ever Sandi told you, was good advice. She can never steer you wrong. I love the ripples around the duck, and the colors are excellent. Nice work, Paul.

Hey Paul,
I don't know if it was judicious dof or post processing but the blur/bokh on the water in the top third has a lovely, curious texture that contrasts nicely to the ripple pattern in the bottom two thirds. I think the crop is just right, plenty of surrounding water for context but not so much as to dwarf the duck. (It's dreadfully dangerous to dwarf the duck dude!) The ripples add energy to a frozen moment and the contorted duck is a nice change from the standard "stately duck pose". :))
