Green Heron rustling up his feathers......think I might be in his personal space?

Funny...I never use to see these birds...now I have been to 2 lakes...10 miles apart and see nothing but Green Herons. Maybe I just haven't noticed them before.

Good job! I like the water effect again. Very nice. The colors and everything are so vibrant and real. It feels like I could reach out and touch them.

Beautiful color. Seems that's one thing I always say about your images, but it's always the truth. This has a painterly effect. A fine shot. Wish I could see a heron. I think I said that before too. lol

I love it! Excellent color and details. I caught a Great Blue Heron doing this hair thing one morning while he was fishing. I don't think it was me being too close that time as it was just a moment and the rest were normal. How fortunate that you are seeing them now. Wonderful work!

What a beauty. This is a HEron? wow, he looks so different then the blue ones here in ORegon. I love all the colours you captured here Paul. And all the tiny reflections of the plants in the water.A very beautiful photo. I love his "bad hair"...you did a great job invading his space. LOL Today as I looked out my window, a huge blue Heron flew about three feet from my house. Just beautiful. I live near a Bird Sanctuary. Hugs to you, Verena
