Superb photo of the Heron,the clarity is really good,the blue of the water is very nice also.I think the kind of Heron we have here is the Grey Heron,it would be hard to get close as they are shy.

Well ain't that just fine and dandy Paul. I spent all day in the damn swamp today fighting off a half dozen gators, gettin' eaten by bugs, up to my knees in muck just to get a few heron shots. Then this beauty walks right up to ya. An excellent closeup with fantastic colour, detail and clarity. Faved twice in case one flies off.
I got ya 20 feet.

I love the colors in this shot. Crisp and vibrant, but soft in all the right places. It is an easy picture to look at, the kind that makes you want to come back and gaze a little while. The kind you see framed on a wall. Great job!!

Well, I know the capture of the bird is super but the water is way off-color. Just not natural. It has a color cast to it that could have been corrected.
