I was recently blessed with the chance to go up to Niagara Falls for a day. Let me tell you here and now, if you have never been there, plan a trip there. Because if you want to see some REAL awe inspiring beauty, that is the place to go. These falls are brilliant and can have you standing in one place just staring. I was on the Canadian side of the falls(over the border in Canada) and its funny cause it seems like its constantly raining because of the mist from the falls. The only credit i can take from this picture is being there to push the button. I will be upload the rest of my pictures from that day later too. so please check back every now and then.

Yeah, I sometimes ... sometimes, take the falls for granted and need to be reminded of the power ... and that is immediately felt and visualized once I look over the 'edge'.

Good colour, and a different perspective shown here. Puts you right there with you.
Curious though, if you have zoom capabilities on your camera. I can envision ... keeping the camera position the same, more or less ... and zooming out to make the bridge in the background more of a focal subject. And then ... that beautiful colour of water and accompanying spray ... framing it. Just some thoughts.
Not sure if it is just me, perhaps some ... some tilt? In the horizon. Very minor, however.
That being said ... good job on the composition here. Well balanced and kudos on that aspect.
And but of course, thank you for sharing this one. :o)

I have returned to find myself looking at oh...... such a thrilling place to be, and to wittness, such an excited young lady photographer, who is honored to be there, busy at work! Yes, Cat, I have seen Niagara Falls, and it is difficult to describe their beauty, in words, isn't it? But you now, have captured your own personal, breathtaking view for all time, Honey. :o) I am so glad you had fun, and I think you did a good job on the photo.
I might add, that if I could critique a photo like Les before me, I would repeat his words. They constitute good guide lines to follow. :o) He has some exciting ideas, I think. :o)) I make a better cheer leader than a teacher. LOL! I will continue to urge you on, darlin', and please continue to practice, practice, and more practice, and you will soon be at the head of your class. :o))
