I think the Sonic Boom would be better in the other side of the picture.

Au contraire, Kristian - I think you should move your icons to the other side of your desktop cos Nick's picture looks great as it is ;-) The only thing I'd try different is blacking out the little circle completely rather than leaving the "stars" visible inside it.....

I pretty much like it just the way it is, great for a Mac desktop picture, which the icons fall on the right. I try to make mine where at least one row of icons can be easily seen if placed on either side.
I think it could use a little color variations in the cloud ..IMHO. :c)

An interesting effect - My only comment is that where the sonic boom ends and the stars begin could be a little less neat. If some of the rays could extend further out into empty space, I feel this would balance the image better.

nice, love it, gonna be my desktop for a whle. only thing is my eyes are drawn to the center of the flare where the opening to the stars is, maybe blur it a little.
