Photo of a printed circuit board (it's me that was bored). The only "manipulation" was increasing the contrast - I tried other effects but couldn't improve on this...

really nice image.... i really do love the macro stuff.. ive got a macro focus on my digital camera.. but i dont find it that good. must get one for my SLR.. the only thing you could do to make it better for me would be to touch up that slight glare right down on the bottom of the image.. a quick touch up with the patch brush in PS would do wonders!

Nice contrast. Reminds me of the movie "Tron"...

Thank you all :-) The beauty of shots like this is they don't involve a five mile hike through muddy woodland.... And thanks for the suggestion, Graeme - that glare does detract a bit from the overall "black and gold" effect. Maybe next time I'm bored I'll tinker with it and see what I can do... (And I love your avatar, by the way - best animated one yet IMHO. I'd give it a 10!)

I love the clean look it gives off, and the idea of power. Never trust images, who knows what they can do to your emotions. The computer itself is an art that is under-captured in my opinion, we should see more of this. Very nicely done

A nice shot. It was a good idea to adjust the contrast, it makes the board shine brightly. If I could fix anything, though, I'd try to get rid of the sudden burst of light at the bottom. It's a tad distracting.
