Another "sunlight streaming in through a window" picture. Although this is a very simple shot I like the pattern of light and shade... Queen's Head, St Austell, 17th May '04.

This came up in my voting booth this morning & I wanted you to know how much I love this shot. I had already DL this months ago, the stark simplicity of this shot really appealed to me. The pattern of light & shadow is both striking & compelling & a 10 from me. Well done Simon !

I am a big fan of light/shadow contrasts and that is why i llike this shot so much. The texture of the wood against the plain wall enhances thewhole thing.
