Not a pretty flower, maybe, but one of the most useful. Used for centuries for raising the nap on cloth, the teasel is still superior to man-made imitations when it comes to the highest quality finishes, such as the cloth on billiard tables :-)

this is really intresting. i like the harsh points against the dramatic clouds in the background. makes for a very cold rough image

I like it too. When you look around inside the teasel, the needles seem to move, as if to stretch further outward. Having the sky as a backdrop really makes it stark and impressive. Nicely and uniformly lit too.

I love how these look...is that where the word 'teaze' came from? hehe..they have a great colour and you captured it perfectly..I love the dramatic sky...it just adds so much to this.

A lot of times the flowers aren't as interresting as the pods that follow. This has such an archetectural shape, perfectly formed with nothing broken it makes a great study against that cloudy background. Well done shot
