This blackbird on the Isles of Scilly made it quite clear that he wanted feeding. Fortunately he found our raisins an acceptable substitute for worms. He wouldn't quite get close enough to take them from the hand, but didn't mind posing in exchange for his treats :-) St Mary's, 12th June '06

Oh, you did indeed bag this bird accurately. He is clear as a bell and well focused. Good work.

Birds are my passion ... as far as Bird photos go ... This is a "humdinger" ... Belongs in a "Bird Guide". Excellent!

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Blackbirds are wonderful birds and you've captured this one very well. I like also the great composition of this sharp image as well as the blurried background which enhances the bird. Excellent shot!

VERY special shot! What a intelligent birdie eh? I love how you got him eating that little luscious raisin, and the rest are waiting his beak at his feet! I keep all sorts of "leftover seeds, nuts and breads" in my trunk of my car at all times for these kind of moment....nice posting..>Verena

He held so perfectly still while you even got a top notch compositon. A great addition to your gallery, Si!
